Getting There

Strategically located in Air Batang Village, Tioman Island. Nordin Chalet is easily accessible. The following are approximate timings and options for tourist.



BY BUS

From Kuala Lumpur (Terminal Bersepadu Selatan at Bandar Tasik Selatan) take the bus to Mersing Bus Terminal (5 hours).
From Johor Bahru (Larkin Bus terminal) take the bus to Mersing (2.5-3 hours)
Alternatively, take the local bus between Johor Bahru and Kota Tinggi and then transfer to the local bus between Kota Tinggi and Mersing. 

From elsewhere in Malaysia: Bus companies that serve destinations along the east coast (Kuala Terengganu, Kuantan, Kota Bahru etc.) mostly stop at Mersing also at Tanjung Gemok Jetty.



BY CAR

FROM KUALA LUMPUR
5 hours drive to Mersing, Johor via North-South Expressway. Take exit 244-Ayer Hitam from North-South Expressway toward Ayer Hitam/Kluang.

OR

Drive to Tanjung Gemuk, Pahang:
Kuala Lumpur - Seremban - Bahau - Muadzam Shah - Rompin - Tg Gemok 

Take the PLUS Highway (E2) south from KL to Seremban; Route No 51 eastwards to Bahau; Route No 11 eastwards and route No 12 north-east to Muadzam Shah; Route No 63 east to Rompin and Route No 3 south to Tanjung Gemuk.




FERRY SERVICES TO TIOMAN ISLAND
Ferry services are operating daily, to & from Tioman Island. Please contact the ferry operator : Bluewater Express at +60 (7) 799 4811 or fax to +60 (7) 799 5696 to enquire on the frequencies, actual ferry timings and the latest updates.

                 

CONSERVATION FEES
Effective 1st September 2013, Johor National Park Corporation will be collecting conservation fees from tourist using Mersing and Tanjung Leman Jetty. Conservation Fees rate are as followed;

Note:
-Tanjung Gemok Jetty opens during peak months only.

-We recommend you to use Mersing main getaway because lots of ferry here to Tioman Island.
